The school dining hall, Parents Hall, is operated by Alan Kern and his staff from Sodexo. Meals are served buffet, sit-down, or on the cafeteria line. Breakfast includes a yogurt bar, cereal bar and Belgian waffle station each day. Lunch offers a salad bar, deli station, hot bar and service on the cafeteria line. Dinners are served buffet and family style, with a varying menu each day. Every effort is made to assist anyone with a special diet or other dietary restrictions.
Camp Sequoia enjoys an amazing variety of food well suited to many dietary needs. Each summer we have campers who are adventurous eaters, and those who have dietary restrictions. It is not uncommon to have dairy free, gluten free and vegetarian or vegan campers as part of our Camp Sequoia family. We encourage you to search for your favorite foods (see note above) on one of our sample menus below. You’ll find several entree options for each meal served buffet style, as well as sandwich and salad bars. Director Lux has a favorite meal of New York Strip and lobster ravioli at our dining hall. What will yours be over the summer?
On Wednesday (our camp-wide trip day) we typically have a picnic lunch or eat off campus. That is why it isn’t on the sample menu. Additionally, we enjoy a brunch on Sundays so we can sleep in a little bit and reset for another great week of camp.
