ADHD Summer Camp for Maryland Residents

Maryland families often arrive at Camp Sequoia after trying a lot of ‘ok’ options that still didn’t fit. Maybe your child did okay academically, but friendships never clicked. Maybe traditional camps were too fast, too unstructured, or too socially unforgiving or had a staff that didn’t understand the neurodiverse child. We built Sequoia specifically for those kids.

Camp Sequoia is a supportive overnight summer camp in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. Our campers are typically bright and capable, and many are navigating ADHD, social anxiety, learning differences, or a mix of the three.

Summer Exploration in a Supportive Environment

Camp should feel like camp and not like school or therapy. That’s why we deliver social learning through the day’s natural moments: residential life, STEM, D&D, activities, meals, and transitions. We integrate frustration tolerance and social cognition into everything, so campers get a full-immersion experience that still feels fun and normal.

Our physical campus helps too: climate controlled indoor spaces, STEM labs, a competition sized pool, strong art facilities, and an 800-acre lake. Kids who need movement to regulate get plenty of it and kids who need a creative outlet have space for that as well, all without compromising program on a rainy day because of a lack of indoor space. Maryland campers often bring a strong sense of curiosity from STEM-heavy schools and clubs, to music, arts, and athletics. At Sequoia, we turn those interests into connection points and friendship opportunities.
