Building upon years of global travel experience and a decade of running trips we are excited to have Director Lux leading this life skills excursion in August for our older and alumni campers. As the founding director of Hawaii Volcanoes Education Institute with two years of “on island” experience, his expertise sets the stage for a truly unique and local experience on the Big Island. From custom tours, to behind the scenes adventures, to local haunts, this program provides the opportunity for our most mature campers to live together and learn cooking, budgeting, laundry and planning skills in the beautiful backdrop of the Hawaiian Islands. In 2020, we add Kauai excursion to our travels and can’t wait to have this program for campers who are 15+.
