Sequoia is excited to be offering on demand and scheduled adventures during the school year for campers. Join your friends and favorite staff on a custom adventure with your Camp Sequoia family, or join us on one of our fan-favorite get togethers! On demand adventures can be highly specific in destination, scope and duration, or join us for one of our reunion trips!

On Demand Adventures

Create your own adventure! These trips are perfect for connecting with camp friends outside camp on a fully customized experience. These trips will adhere to our 2:5 staffing ratio. Director Brian Lux, Artrice, or Reema will be present for every on demand adventure. These excursions are designed to be social opportunities for participants in a fun and supportive environment. Many families use these trips as a means to reconnect with summer friends or to bring a new friend into the Camp Sequoia community. Our campers will have the opportunity to engage with some incredible destinations and dynamic staff who have been trained to help children work on building social skills and frustration tolerance experientially. Costs for trips will be based on location, duration, interests, and number of participants.

Some ideas for these trips include:

• School break trip with Artrice to explore New Orleans. Visit our four-legged friend flapjack too!
• Hunting for Diamonds or Fossils with Director Lux
• Birthday weekend with laser tag for you and your friends
• Sleepover in a train, museum, aquarium or on a decommissioned Navy boat
• Comic-con and RenFaire adventures with Director Reema
• Explore Puerto Rico in an immersive cultural experience!

24-25 School Year Trips

A camp registered nurse, Director Brian Lux, Director Reema Dixon, and favorite staff from our summer programs will supervise each of these trips with a 2:5 staffing ratio. Programs generally run from 9 am Saturday until 5 pm Sunday evening (specific pick up times will be provided upon registration). Optional Friday night hotel accommodations at our points of departure and supervision are available. With the exception of Resort Destinations (such as Kalahari) hotels are typically Hyatt properties with two campers per room with staff in connecting, adjoining or proximal rooms.

Sept 21st-22nd ~ MD Adventure Park USA and Paintball

Experience a weekend of pure thrill and excitement at Adventure Park USA, with go-karts, mini-golf, rides, laser tag, the arcade, and more! But wait, there’s more! We also plan on going to play some heart-pounding paintball before wrapping up our exciting weekend. Join us!
