Pre-Camp Training & Distance Learning

The following training interactive modules were developed to shorten the in-person training needed for staff and are to be completed by staff before staff training begins. Completing these trainings before camp begins helps us facilitate time off for our staff between the end of training and before campers arrive. The expectation is that you take time with this training and be able to be familiar with the information to discuss when we get together. All staff members need to complete pre-camp trainings.

Take notes! Training is blended learning focused, which means sessions are building off the information provided in the following modules, and there will be a test to ensure everyone has the tools and skills they’ll need to interact with our specialized population.

We understand that many of our staff have talents and skills far above this level, but that everyone can benefit from all of the staff having this basic knowledge. If you have a specialized skill set or training that you think
