We believe that our kids benefit from our residential summer programs and reconnecting periodically throughout the year. We offer periodic scheduled trips to Theme Parks, Water Parks, beaches, festivals and more. Additionally, Camp Sequoia offers the Adventure on Demand experience as another way for our community to connect. Our leadership team vets and leads all of our trips. Finally, our Camp Sequoia alumni enjoy the opportunity to connect with each other on a yearly retreat, coordinated by Alumni Director Artrice.
From laser tag to arcades to robotics to water parks, our weekend trips are a blast. Additionally, these trips allow our campers to connect with friends and favorite staff from the summer. Best of all, it’s a great chance to help our kids maintain friendships with those who live further away. They’re even an opportunity to make new friends before the start of the summer. We typically have a number of trips during the school year. Our favorite is our December Kalahari waterpark adventure. Interested in attending one of our trips as an enrolled camper family? Check out this year’s upcoming trips!
At Camp Sequoia, we believe in supporting our campers even after they graduate the program. We love hearing updates from our camp family about their professional, scholarly, and personal achievements. For campers just aging out of our program, we provide our specially tailored CIT Program during the summer. This program gives our 18-20 year old campers the opportunity to gain professional experience. Whether for collegiate or employment opportunities, our CITs can work towards their personal betterment in a scaffolded, nurturing environment. Our CIT program is intentionally smaller program specifically customized for each participant. This allows them to fulfill their goals while still having the flexibility and understanding our experienced staff can provide.
We also host an annual alumni adventure reunion! We love to reconnect and reminisce on favorite camp memories with our amazing young adults. Last year’s adventure went to Baltimore Harbor and visited Medieval Times and the National Aquarium. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year!
